ROWAN GLEN This modern self catering home is situated on the peninsula known as the 'Black Isle', because of the fertility of the soil, between the Beauly Firth and the Cromarty Firth. It is within easy reach for day outings without stress to all parts of the Northern Highlands. |

THE ACCOMMODATION
The bungalow is in 6 acres of its own grounds. From the patio door of the kitchen the two large natural ponds, one with boat house and rowing dinghy, are immediately close by. There are also mature larch and birch trees. There is a tree house for adults or children (climb up at your own risk). There is a full size croquet court and a summer house some distance away within the grounds. There are lawns, an extensive maze and woodland paths through which to wander. |

THE SETTING
The old fishing village of Cromarty, with its fascinating Court House Museum, is on the tip of the peninsula. The local munro mountain, Ben Wyvis is within half an hour of Rowan Glen. Our weather in this area of Scotland is by reputation mild and sunny, with less of a midge problem than in other localities further west. |
